Craig graduated from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand in 2020 with a Bachelors of Engineering majoring in Chemical and Process Engineering and a minor in Bioprocess Engineering. He is currently a PhD candidate at BioPRIA, Monash University. His research is focused on the use of lignocellulosic materials for sustainable agriculture with supervision by Prof. Gil Garnier, Prof. Antonio Patti, and A/Prof. Vanessa Wong.
