Professor George Simon is Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and a Professor in the Department of Materials Engineering at Monash University. His research interests include modifying microscopic nanoparticles to make plastics and in their incorporation into polymers to make nanocomposites. At PALS, George is working alongside Assoc. Prof. Victoria Haritos on Project 8: Engineering Nanocellulose Gels for value applications, and Professor Hans Griesser on Project 11: Novel nanocellulose materials and surface treatment.
